Valor Track Club is an Orange County-based running club founded in 2018. It offers training for youth, adult, and elite runners on the track, road, trails, and cross country. I worked closely with the head coach to co-found the club’s brand by designing the logo, website, t-shirt designs, and all other print and digital material.
“Valor” means great courage in the face of danger, especially in battle. The shield contains an olympic torch for the olypmic-hopefuls, a griffin which symbolizes courage (eagle and lion), a track shoe with wings for speed, and a lightning bolt for power.

“Run with Valor” is the team’s slogan. It means to run with courage but also has a double meaning of “come run with us” from a recruiting perspective. The slogan has evolved beyond running and has gained popularity on Instagram as the team hashtag. You can do anything with valor - Walk with Valor, Bike with Valor, Live with Valor.
This design is used on apparel such as t-shirts and bandannas.
